Welcome to the Divergent Drinking member community page! Our group meets online (anywhere) as well as locally (in Cincinnati, Ohio). We use this space to connect with one another as well as to normalize and advocate for fun without alcohol!
We are a group of inclusive non-drinkers. What bonds us initially is our shared interest in leaving alcohol behind and creating a new and fuller life without it. You may call yourself sober, sober-curious, or just wish you could say no to a drink and not seem crazy, broken, or boring. Regardless of your reasons for stepping back from alcohol, we have space for you here.
As a group, we meet for a wide variety of activities including fire pit gatherings, festivals in the park, book sharing, family potlucks, concerts, and more. The Divergent Drinking community is a supportive team, but it is not a recovery group (see note below). We offer support, authenticity, and community to one another as peers and as friends. And we would love to have you join us.
A membership fee of $20/month keeps our group active and engaged and covers the costs involved in growing the visibility of fun without alcohol nationwide. The subscription is renewed monthly and can be canceled at any time, so it’s super easy to sign up and see if this group is right for you. Come check it out!
